Cavelier Wine Bar

Kelly came to me when she decided to open a new business after I had created some designs for her handcrafted goods shop, Locally Inspired. She wanted to create a new type of gathering place that stood out against the coffee shops and dark bars — because those were the only other options in town!

 

She also enlisted my help with naming her new venture. I provided a list of names, many with nods to Lake Michigan. She selected "Cavelier" which is the name of one of the first European explorers to visit the area. This exploration theme runs through the brands entire identity. I provided the branding, the website, some photography of the location, and the printed menu design.
